Meet First Home Buyers Kirsty and Kyle

There has never been a better time to build a new home! We spoke to first home buyers Kirsty and Kyle who recently completed their new home build in Marsden Park, Sydney. They told us a little bit about their journey with Adenbrook Homes Greater Sydney.

“We decided to build our first home rather than buy an already established home as we wanted the freedom to design a home that WE wanted, rather than what someone else wanted.

Being new to property we weren’t quite too sure where to start. We decided to head to the Marsden Park display village to scope out what our options were and what builders we liked and didn’t like.”

So, let’s find out a little bit more about what their Adenbrook Homes experience was like:

“As soon as we entered the display home for Adenbrook Homes we were a little sceptical at first, as we thought based on how beautiful the houses were, that they were way out of our price range. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that there were amazing options for us.

We absolutely adored everyone we came into contact with in Adenbrook Homes. Renee, Elle, and Melissa in the office were always so lovely and helpful throughout the entire experience. We especially loved the colours appointment with Elle, as she really helped us bring the vision we had to life.

Our site supervisor Ben was awesome, we knew our home was in amazing hands when we learned how friendly and knowledgeable he was.”

To finish off, Kirsty and Kyle have some excellent advice for people starting their journey.

“Our advice to people looking to build would be to look at reviews for all builders and to head to a display village to sit down and talk to them about what they are all about.

We would recommend Adenbrook Homes over and over again. We’ve lost count with how many times we’ve recommended them already! If you’re looking for quality, affordability and a team that is dedicated to bringing your dreams to life, Adenbrook Homes is your builder.”

If you are thinking about building, now could not be a better time.  Contact us to discuss your dream home build and work with the big brand and local builder.

National Breast Cancer Foundation Corporate Partnership

Adenbrook Homes are proud to be a Corporate Partner of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Our aim is to raise awareness and support their mission for zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Our partnership began in 2020, and saw us double our first fundraising goal for the ‘Go Pink’ month in which we raised $24,746. We will continue that momentum going in future fundraising opportunities.

Approximately 55 Australians are diagnosed with Breast Cancer each day. Breast cancer does not discriminate between men and women, with 1 in 675 men and 1 in 7 women diagnosed in their lifetime. Adenbrook Homes CEO, Michael Kravic discusses the importance of this Corporate Partnership within the Adenbrook Homes business;

“Adenbrook Homes are proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation as this is a cause that has impacted many members of our team and therefore is close to our hearts. We, as a group understand the importance of ongoing research if we are to find a cure and achieve Zero Deaths from breast cancer in the future. We will continue to support NBCF in any way we can and are humbled to be corporate partners.”

The National Breast Cancer Foundation has done amazing work in reducing the five year survival rate from 76% to 91% since it first opened in 1994. We look forward to supporting this amazing cause and raising much needed funds to see zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

WE DOUBLED OUR GOAL!

This June, the team at Adenbrook Homes made a pledge to #gopink in support of our corporate partners, the National Breast Cancer Foundation with a goal to raise $12,000 to contribute to ongoing breast cancer research – research that will detect tumours earlier, improve outcomes and ultimately save lives.

Go Pink month looked a little different across Australia for Adenbrook Homes. Each franchise got creative to raise awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We saw our Greater Sydney franchise owner Daniel Galea and site supervisor Ben Adams ‘Shave It’, our National Sales and Marketing Manager Christie Turner chose to ‘Colour It’ and each of our teams ‘Wore It’ with a custom PINK uniform. Nadia from the Gold Coast chose to wear bright Pink make-up for the month of June.  Our Marketing Team got active and each member chose different activities, Mel ran 150km’s to raise awareness and Lauren did 53 Sit-Ups per day for the 53 Australians who are diagnosed each and every day. Shelley and Charlotte James from our Hawkesbury Blue Mountains Franchise walked 150km’s together throughout the month of June.

And, finally the results are in… Adenbrook Homes raised over $24,600 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation which is double our goal! We are so proud of our achievement and the contribution we have made by taking decisive action towards a future without fear of breast cancer. This is a cause that is very close to our hearts and we vow to continue doing what we can to support such an incredible, life saving cause!

A huge congratulations to our Sydney and Wollongong teams who together raised over $16,000 which is an outstanding effort and something the team are very proud of. Daniel and Ben might be feeling the cold a little more now since shaving but their contribution is impressive and worthy of accolades. Well done everyone!

##NBCF Coffs Harbour - Niki Whelan (002)

Mid North Coast team raise $10,000!

In August of this year, the Adenbrook Homes Mid North Coast team launched a fundraising campaign to raise much needed funds for breast cancer research. With 50 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in Australia and the Adenbrook Homes team want to help find a cure. Having personally been impacted by breast cancer the cause is close to the heart of the Mid North Coast team and this was the motivation to set their sights on raising $10,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation opened their doors in 1994 and has since raised over $171 million to fund an incredible 534 breast cancer research projects across Australia. This has led to the development of new treatment outcomes, diagnostic tools and approaches to improve the quality of life of those affected by breast cancer. The NBCF is 100% community funded with no government support, so the Adenbrook Homes team understand that we need to come together to continue to fund this research if we are going to achieve the goal of zero deaths.

Business owner, Matt Morris said “we are always focused on how we can engage with the community and help those around us. When you consider how many lives are impacted by breast cancer every year, it was an easy decision for us to immerse ourselves in this fundraiser.” The Adenbrook Homes Mid North Coast sprung into action and team rallied the support of their clients and local community with a request to display an awareness sign out the front of their home throughout the August and September appeal which was extremely well received. With signs installed across the Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour regions the team could see the impact immediately.

For every sign displayed, the team vowed to donate $50 and also welcomed contribution from the local community so they could reach their goal of $10,000, and that is exactly what they did. Matt Morris and his team not only raised the $10,000 for NBCF but also raised awareness about breast cancer across their region. It is this awareness that will drive ongoing support and continued research to help find a cure.

The incidence of breast cancer has increased in recent years, the 5-year survival rate has increased to 91% over the last 25 years and much of this progress is thanks largely due to research. The more Australians that donate to research, the more likely we are of achieving the goal of zero breast cancer deaths by 2030. Adenbrook Homes are now a corporate partner of National Breast Cancer Australia and welcome any donations or support from the local community to continue to aid this amazing cause.
